I read your post on the NY times blog from Oct 2009 regarding High Deductible Health Insurance (http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/10/16/high-deductible-health-plans-better-for-you-or-your-employer/?apage=2#comment-416029). I&#039;m interested in finding out more about the plan you mentioned that you have. Would you mind providing a link to your health care provider and maybe any details that you consider helpful.
I currently pay 100% of my own HMO premiums and just got the annual increase notice for 2010- comes to about $13,000 for next year&#039;s family coverage. I can&#039;t continue in good conscious to pay this outrageous sum. So it&#039;s time to consider alternatives and  it sounds like your plan would work for us too.
