Resnackit_HomeI’ve been trying to promote my blog so that more people read it. Not that I don’t love the four people who take the time to look at my posts, but this blog is more than just a hobby. It’s a means to an end…but I digress.

Anyway, I’ve been spending time looking at other mommy blogs, looking to see how they promote their sites. Along the way I have found some really, really cool products, posts, and links. Here are a few of my favorites.

Remember my what-to-store-it-in problem? Well, I think I’ve found a solution in the form of ReSnackIt bags. The inventor, who sounds like a mom after my own heart, figured out a way to make a reusable, washable bag that is also durable enough to hold the messiest soybean butter and jelly sandwich. And at $9.99 it will save the average mom a fortune on sandwich bags over the long haul.

Another fun find: Clickin Moms. I love scrapbooking. I love taking pictures. I’m a decent scrapbooker, but my photo prowess leaves a little to be desired. That’s why I was so excited to find this site. Yes, it’s a paid site, but the idea that I can learn about photography in the comfort of my office was pretty appealing to me.

While my girls are both little, this site — LoveorHateDebate.com — really spoke to my reality TV-loving side. The premise is pretty simple. Take a product. Give it to a mom and her daughter. Record them on video debating the pros and cons. What’s not to love?

Finally, in search of something that Keira won’t pull out of her getting-longer hair, I stumbled upon Sweet Baby Bowtique. CUTE bows. Unique, fun, and sized appropriately. (You can buy baby bows, toddler bows and bows for big girl as well as tweens.)

I’ll be doing a lot more research, so I’m thinking this might be a fun Friday column–cool things that I find on the Web. I think I have a little expertise here since I wrote the PC Magazine Top 100 Web sites story for a bunch of years back when I first got started in journalism.

Have a cool site or product you think I should see? Drop me a line!

Good info. Are you ordering bags? We can split the shipping.

Yes, I want to. How many are you going to get? I was going to let Katelyn pick the ones she wants.
