I'm with you all the way; it's terrible to see all the rubbish stacked outside people's homes after Christmas. We had three bins next to us whilst unwrapping our presents: one for paper, one for 'normal' i.e. metal wrapping and others, and one for decor items we will re-use such as nice wrapping paper, bows or paper bags.
Easy rubbish separation as we go, the kids get the right idea and our bin was one of those with hardly any extra rubbish outside - the others were those of people gone away for the holidays...
Hope you had a great Christmas!
