I found that spitting couldn&#039;t be taught, it is more of a relex to swallow. I had my son use the safe to swallow toothpaste without flouride until he was over 4 and I saw he was able to spit. If you wait a little longer it will probably come naturally.</description>

You are so right to teach your child not to swallow toothpaste. Or at least the conventional, commercial toothpaste available today. Fluoride is not a good thing for young bodies to be ingesting.</description>
