I'm catching up on my "nataspossmom" reading after being swamped for the past week and just wanted to say that I love this. Written from the heart.

I love this list of links to sites to explore. Sometimes it's overwhelming trying to find blogs that are really fun and interesting. Thanks, Karen!

Friends. I have been thinking about friends, too. Last night, my family went to dinner at the house of friends. Kid friends AND parent friends. These friends are such a gift. We shared wine and food and stories of parenthood. Our children laughed and played, together and separate, coming over to us every now and then for a "check in" hug or smile. We don't do this often enough--take a break from our busy routines and lives to slow down and sit together with friends. As we left, my 4-year-old was saying to their almost-3-year-old, "Next time, you can come to my house." Indeed!
